Here is a 9 x 12 study that I did on the beach here in Laguna.   I find that the best view point to paint the ocean is as close as I can get without swimming.  The ocean is reluctant to give up the secrets of her beauty.  You have to watch and listen closely.  This study served to inspire a larger painting and is now available to a new home.
