I have put my brushes aside for the moment for the opportunity to participate in some community service very dear to my heart. We have a growing population of homeless folks all over the country; and here in Laguna Beach, some of the people without a roof are fellow artists and wonderful people. We have just now been able to open our first emergency homeless shelter here in Laguna Beach; but there is still much work to be done to get us all out of the rain. I'm sure that I will be back slinging paint again very soon....til then, keep me in your prayers.

NAPA VALLEY FALL

AFTERNOON GLOW 6 X 8 0IL STUDY

This painting was created the same day as Sweet  Little Wave. The afternoon light  at this beach (Heisler Park,Laguna Beach) is often a quick and fleeting gift. The painting was a very quick study as Lefty was tired by now and would only yield the palette knife.  All praise should be directed to Lefty, whom we have come to find is somewhat insecure in her new found skills.  This study is available for $100, plus shipping.

SWEET LITTLE WAVE

Since last posting, right arm has been surged and is whimpering under a cast.  "Lefty" unimpressed ; and slightly jealous of all the sympathy directed at the so called dominant arm is continuing to produce little studies.... KITCHEN FRIENDS 8 X 10

Another little study from "Broken Wing".  These wonderful flowers followed me into the kitchen and offered to pose for my left hand efforts; and who am I to decline such an offer ?  Hard to find more beautiful models.  "Kitchen Friends" is an 8 x 10 oil study and can come to your house for $200, unframed.  SOLD
